For the last three years, an exciting film competition has helped raise awareness of the need to conserve and protect water. Filmmakers and green industry workers are invited to create short films, 1-10 minutes in length, focused on responsible water use. Narrative, documentary, animated, experimental and/or student-made productions should explore methods and ideas to manage and use earth’s most precious resource responsibly.
Finalists are selected from among eligible submissions by an independent panel of judges, all of whom have academic, professional, industrial or governmental expertise in film and/or water conservation will review your work. The chosen films are screened at an event in Los Angeles, where prizes are awarded to the three films that best address the issue of water conservation, exploring approaches and ideas to intelligently manage and efficiently utilize earth’s most precious resource.
